Location and directions

Kasumi is a fishing port in Hyogo Prefecture that looks out on Sea of Japan. One way to enjoy the local scenery would be taking a drive through the rural roads. Or you could gaze out at lovely scenery from within a train. Even a bus ride through local destinations is exciting and fun.

Kasumi is a town nestled among the mountains and Sea of Japan and rich in natural scenery.

Sadasuke can be found in Kami, a town in the Kasumi region at the northernmost point of Hyogo Prefecture. The town, located along the coast of the Sea of Japan, prospered through fishing ports in Kasumi and Shibayama. Even today, a variety of fresh seafood is caught each morning in the Sea of Japan. Many guests come every year to Kasumi to savor its fresh local seafood. The region is also designated as part of the San’in Kaigan Geopark.
